Dear friends, dear followers, dear all,
We arrived in San Francisco! Friday, the 19th of march, around 6 o’ clock, we were enterring the Bay area, wondering what we would find there, what would be waiting for us. We were received by Mike, An and their two wonderful daughters, Mia and Ava. We met Mike on The Samba.com and one more time we are very lucky since our new friends told us that we could stay until we found a boat to Rusia!
All the contacts we made on Couchsurfing.com won’t be necesaries: we have a house in San Francisco, and it’s a great one!
Before we arrived in San Francisco, we spent mostly one month discovering the natural wonders of the south West. After Monument Valley, Arches NP and Bryce Canyon, we enjoyed the Grand Canyon (unbelievable!), and Death Valley, where we spent three days.
We also spent the last week end (March, the 13th and the 14th) in Las Vegas, where we din’t lost money gambling! It’s more: in the Wyn hotel, we gambled only one dolar, we won 5 and we could get 6 beers for free! We love Vegas!! :-) Thanks to Tim, our Couchsurfing contact in the city, we could discover many diferent aspects and the town and without him, our stay in the city wouldn’t have been so fun. An other traveler was in his house (Zohar, from Canada) and we had two great nights together. Thank you guys!
We also met the guys from the Las Vegas VW club and spent some time with them on sunday morning. We went to a car show but it was so windy that nobody could stay too much. Despite the weather, it was a very nice moment!
Well, as you can see, we had wonderful time in this part of the country. Great and amazing landscapes, nice moments, wonderful people: all was perfect and we are 100% reloaded! We’ll have to use all this energy to find a boat, someone or an enterprise who could help us with the biggest osbtacle of the journey: the crossing of the Pacific!
The big game starts tomorrow and we will be sending news, of course!!
