Enjoying the South West

Dear friends!

We are writing these lines from Zion National Park, where we spent the two last days. Before that, we discovered the route 88 in Arizona, Monument Valley, Arches N.P. and Bryce Canyon. It’s hard to express 8even more in english) how much we loved these places!

 
They’re now part of our favorite landscapes in the world and we really want to come back one day, with our children and with our fathers, so they can see pure beauty.

We still have to see the Grand Canyon. It will probably be around wednesday. Then we will take the road to Vegas, where we should spend some days. After that, we’ll go to visit Death Valley and Yosemite. Then we’ll be in California, with a lot of important things to reach and to do before we can start the Second part of the journey.

We are in Arizona!

Dear friends,

Finally, we could renew our north americaon visa spending few days in México. We loved these days! We discovered a beautiful part of Northern México, with the desert of Sorona and meet very nice people who invited us in their house.
  
During these days, we felt how much we were missing Latin America but in the same time we were thinking about all the things we’re going to discover and basically, we feel amazingly excited!

Right now, we are in Arizona. We can’t believe the beauty of all the landscapes we’re discovering! Honestly, we’re speaking of some of the most beautiful places we saw in our lives! We can’t wait to put the pictures on this page!

 
Tomorrow we will be driving in Monument Valley, living one other wonderful part of this dream!

Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas: a long drive

Hi friends,

At the moment we are writing these lines we are on the interstate 10 between San Antonio and El Paso, TX. It was a long drive to arrive here, we crossed five states in only four days. Last Saturday, we left Miami, where we met wonderful people and we felt nostalgic but sunday we found a wonderful way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary: We spent the entire day in Disneyworld, filing like kids.

 

We arrived in New Orleans in Thursday just in time to enjoy the Mardi Gras, it was amazing. In Louisiana we saw another aspect of the US, with more poverty, more history and more colors.

We should be in the Mexican border tomorrow in the evening. We are anxious to fulfill with the renovation of our visas. It would be the first step in the second part of our journey.

BULLSEYE: Our sponsor

Life is funny ... For several months; we spent a lot of time searching for a sponsor, sending our presentation folder to different companies.  We spend hours looking for the contacts of marketing services, sending hundreds of messages and expected responses that rarely come.  And someday, we went to a VW show ... And we found the man so expected.

Our biggest project of travel to France made possible by a meeting ... It should be writing. Joe Orriols is passionate about cars.  It is also the owner of Bullseye, a powder coating company. And when we said this: "I'm going to pay for gas to France," we could not believe.  We could not believe.

Were ours wheels and our bumper who opened Pandora's box.  We began to say it would be good to paint the bottom of the bus, fix all points of oxidation and for that matter, why not paint it fully?

Powder coating for everybody!

It was a great moment.  For three days we were all involved.  Dalia, the wife of Joe, Joe himself, both of us, Richard ... Under the direction of David a genius of the restoration of old cars, we give a second life to our bus.  David is great painting and did all the paint job in one night, from 6 pm to 8 am.  It was an amazing night.  DAVID, THANK YOU!

We are doubly happy.  We not only have a sponsor, we had new friends! Since two weeks ago we are living with Joe and her wife Dalia. Having a really good time.
And for the first time since we decided to go to Brest. We can think without seeing clouds in the sky.  The obstacles will be necessary but with the support of our first sponsor, the sky clears and appears as the dawn that followed the night of painting: bright, full of hope, like a dream.  A wonderful feeling!
